Champathong Phochanthilath (Noi)

 

Ms. Champathong Phochanthilath is a WIT member. Her works are particularly focus on national training programs and project advisory.  She has worked at the Faculty of Social Sciences, National University of Laos since 2002 in the areas of History, anthropoloy and Gender. Her previous studies involved Women’s Studies, History, Anthropology and Ethnolinguistic.

She is currently lecturing a Gender Studies, Local History and Lao History under the western colonialism at the Faculty of Social Sciences, National University of Laos, and working as a gender advisor for Association for Development of Women and Legal Education, in the programme on gender mainstreaming into Law courses at the Faculty of Law and Political Science, National University of Laos.  Ms. Champathong Phochanthilath speak Lao, Kmhmu’ and English.

Sisouvanh Vorabouth (Moni)

WIT Member

 

 Ms. Sisouvanh VORABOUTH is involved in the establishment of WIT group and be a WIT member as well. She works focus on mainstreaming gender in all project cycle. From 2006-2008 she worked as Education Officer and from 2009 to present she has worked as National Education Coordinator for Norwegian Church Aid (NCA).

Development of project activities of NCA with education project coordinators, conducting the follow up and monitoring the implementation of project activities to ensure all projects activities meet the projects goals and objectives and write reports to the donors are her current responsibilities.

 

she got the Bachelor of Art, Major in English from NUOL , Laos and got the M.A in Women Studies, from Chaing Mai University, Thailand.

 

 Duangchai Pengmanyvong (Took)

WIT member

Ms Duangchai is a freelance Consultant for years. she specialized in Gender Community based development. her work are include conducting the evaluation of the project and conducting training, which focus on gender and development issues

 

she has Bachelor of Art, Major in Economic, from NUOL , Laos she is now currently  conducting research "My Journey:  into the Sustianable Empowerment of women in rural  project" for her thesis on M.A in Women Studies, from Chaing Mai University, Thailand.

 

she also interested in Literature and writting short fiction.

 Phoumvilay Siripholdej

Ms Phoumvilay Siripholdej is now working with  SNV the International Non-government organization based in Vientiane as a Gender Advisor.  She has a Bachelor of Education, Major in English from NUOL , Laos and got the M.A in Women Studies, from Chaing Mai University, Thailand.

 

Ms Phoumvilay   is currently work on Gender and Development issues, Gender training, and translation of gender related documents. She also interested in cultural studies issues. She speak, Lao, Thai, English and now currently learning to speak Japanese.
